This is a choice Grand Auditorium sized Taylor, regarded by many as their flagship model for it's resonance and playability.  The spruce top - flanked by rosewood sides and back and  tillered by an ebony fretboard - produces a lovely resonance that is both sparkly and boomy, chimey and roomy, with a slightly scooped midrange,  This particular guitar has barely been played in the last ten years and still boasts a decal on the pickguard (though you are not *required* to use Elixirs, per the directive).  The lovingly crafted venetian cutaway allows you access to the upper frets on this beauty, perfect for nailing leads, or complex chords in the higher registers.  All in all, this guitar is the perfect companion, equally at home on your front porch or as big of a stage as will have you.
