Garrett Park Guitars Policies

We are aware that guitars are an individual choice, and we strive to provide the best products at the best price. We also offer customers a chance to approve their purchases; therefore, we are pleased to offer the following return policy.

GARRETT PARK GUITARS, INC RETURN POLICY
Garrett Park Guitars Inc. offers customers the opportunity to approve any item which is purchased and then shipped. This allows 48 hours to inspect and then decide on the purchase.

If an item is to be returned, verbal notification must be given within 48 hours of receipt of the item. 

Items should be carefully packed to prevent damage. The item should be returned in the same condition and box as it shipped.
Refunds cannot be processed in cash. Please provide a debit/credit card, PayPal, or Venmo account to receive your funds.

New items must be returned in new condition (warranties must be left unsigned and paper/plastic must remain on and not have been removed from the pickguard or any other part).

Upon notification, the item must be returned within seven (7) days.

Shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility (both ways) and will be deducted from the refund amount.

Insurance claims that result from shipping damage are the shared responsibility of the customer and Garrett Park Guitars. The customer will be asked to save all packaging for the carrier’s representative to review as a part of the claims process. Refunds that result from damage in shipping are issued by the carrier and may result in 2-3 +/- weeks to receive. 
Any modifications that are made at the customers request to an existing item negate the 48-hour return policy. This refers to added pickups, bridge work, and other modifications that are done at the customer's request.

LAYAWAYS AND HOLDS
Items may be put on layaway for future purchase as follows: 25% deposit, balance in 60 days. No refunds on layaways. If a customer cannot execute the balance on the layaway within the specified 60 days, a late charge may be applied to the unpaid balance until paid.

SPECIAL ORDERS
Special orders may be placed and require 25% deposit with the balance due on delivery of the item to Garrett Park Guitars. Deposits are transferable, but not refundable and guitars ordered to custom specs are non-cancelable.

REPAIRS
Repairs are done as a customer service. Notification on repairs requiring an estimate must be provided when the repair is left at GPG. Work must begin on an item 15 days after estimate notification or picked up by the customer at GPG. Some repair work is performed by qualified repair staff off GPG premises. Items are fully-insured and covered by GPG's insurance both on and off GPG's premises. Repairs left after 45 days of notification of completion may be sold under the provisions of Maryland Law to recoup labor and parts costs associated with said repair.
PRIVACY POLICY
We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone. We are committed to ensuring the security of our customers information.

ORDER PROCESSING
Most orders are processed & finalized immediately. However, some orders may take up to 72 hours to verify or prevent fraud. This is process is done automatically by Shopify and Authorize.net.

SHIPPING/DELIVERY POLICY
Please be assured that your items will ship out within three days of the finalization of your order processing. We determine the most efficient shipping carrier for your order. The carriers that may be used are U.S. Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS) or FedEx. Sorry, but we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.  You may request to use any of the shipping services we use, but these shipping arrangements must be made prior to purchasing.
If you’re trying to estimate when a package will be delivered, please note the following:
Credit card authorization and verification must be received prior to processing. Federal Express and UPS deliveries occur Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays. If you require express or 2-day shipping, please call us at 410-571-9660 for charges.
SHIPPING WITH A SIGNATURE REQUIRED UPON DELIVERY POLICY
We do not require a signature for packages that are less than $100.

PLEASE NOTE: Out of state orders WILL NOT be charged sales tax. In-state orders will be charged 6% sales
