Refund policy
Approval Period
We here at Garrett Park Guitars understand the difficulty in anticipating how one will respond to an instrument purchased remotely, so we offer a 48-hour approval period for any and all items purchased through our online store or over the phone. This allows ample time to inspect and approve the purchase.
Return Shipping
If you wish to return an item, verbal notification must be given to GPG within 48 hours of receipt of the item. Upon notification, we will email a return shipping label. The item must arrive back to us no later than 7 business days after the return label was issued.
Please note: shipping costs (both ways) are the customer’s responsibility and will be deducted from the refund amount. GPG also maintains the right to reimbursement for any transaction fees (credit card, PayPal, etc.); reimbursement will be drawn from the refund amount.
Items should be carefully packed to prevent damage. The item should be returned in the same condition as it shipped.
Refunds
Refunds cannot be processed in cash (online or in-store). Please provide a credit/debit card, Venmo, or PayPal account to receive your funds.
Insurance
It's rare, but sometimes accidents happen in transit. Insurance claims that result from shipping damage are the shared responsibility of the customer and Garrett Park Guitars. The customer will be asked to take pictures of the packaging and item, as well as to save all packaging for the carrier’s representative to review as a part of the claims process. Refunds that result from damage in shipping are issued from the carrier and therefore may take time to receive (typically 2-3 weeks).
