1963 Fender Telecaster

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1963 Fender Telecaster.
Just in is this killer all-original '63 Telecaster, which is something of a transition guitar: it's among the earliest maple caps (meaning there's no "skunk stripe" down the back of the neck), which means it was special-ordered by a customer who preferred the old school maple 'boards to the rosewood that had become standard; and yet it's also among the last Teles with a single-ply white pickguard.
This particular model features a blonde finish over an ash body. Its richly-worn neck is stippled with birdseye throughout. Given the wear, especially on the fingerboard, it's obvious this guitar was highly favored, and for good reason. It sounds so damn good, you'll never want to put it down. Fortunately, it's an easy 6lbs 10oz, so you'll never have to.
