1971 Fender Stratocaster

Garrett Park Guitars

This guitar is in our Hall of Fame Collection and is no longer available for purchase.

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1971 Fender Stratocaster in Firemist Gold with maple capped neck.

Robert "Count Rabbit" Robinson was an iconic figure in American Music. Born in 1932 in Alabama he began to sing and play guitar and soon after moved to Buffalo New York where he became a lifelong blues musician. In later years he became known as "Count Rabbit" as he fathered 25 children.

The Count also loved beautiful guitars and in 1970 he ordered a brand new Fender Stratocaster in Firemist Gold with a maple neck.

This is one of the rarer guitars we have ever offered and we have complete provenance to go with it. It has all the features you would expect from a 1970-71 Jimi Hendrix era Stratocaster. With its four bolt neck, single string tree, and rare maple capped neck this is a fantastic find and an incredible collector's piece. In 100% original condition this guitar was played by the Count but remains in pretty darn good shape. The case is even adorned with original artwork.
