For your consideration Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1974 Fender Stratocaster in a lovely Olympic White with its original hard shell case.

The Stratocaster is a classic solid-body, double-cutaway electric, known for its bright and punchy tone. The Olympic White finish (a "custom color" option at the time) often ages into a desirable, creamy hue due to the polyester finish used during that period. The Olympic White finish is original and still looks great. It features a contoured body design for player comfort and Fender's traditional synchronized tremolo bridge system.  This Strat is in excellent condition and is 100% original except for a pro refret. The maple neck and 7.25" radiused fingerboard are both attractive and comfortable to play. The refret is fresh and this things plays and sounds great and is currenlty set up with 9 guage strings. The staggered pole pickups are clacky and articulate with superb tonal definition.

Tonal Characteristics and Context
The 1974 Stratocaster is part of the "CBS era" of Fender production, a period known for certain design changes that distinguish it from the revered pre-CBS models. The combination of the alder body wood, polyester finish, and single-coil pickups gives the guitar a bright, articulate sound with a distinct '70s character.
This is a wonderful instrument that would delight any player or collector.
