For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1968 Gibson Barney Kessel.
The Gibson Barney Kessel (1961–1974) is a signature model guitar manufactured by the Gibson Guitar Company. The guitar was a signature model for the popular Jazz musician Barney Kessel but was not largely popular and in 1974 Gibson discontinued production.
The guitar is a hollow-body, making it great for Jazz playing. The body features a double cutaway design with a spruce top, maple sides and back, two Humbucker pickups, a mahogany neck and a Brazilian rosewood fretboard with double-parallelogram inlays.
This 1968 Barney Kessel is in good cosmetic condition, but it is missing its signature Kessel badge for the tailpiece and shows stable cracks near the output jack. Otherwise, it is in very good condition and looks and plays great.
