For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this Ross Gutmeier Spruce/Maple 640 Scale Classical Guitar.

This handmade guitar has a beautiful tone. Based out of Baltimore, luthier Ross Gutmeier has been building a wide range of styles over the past decade. Since 2007, he has been especially enamored with the instruments of Santos Hernandez and has been experimenting with various ways of integrating the charming and alluring elements of this legendary style into his own work. This guitar is a 640 scale made out of spruce and maple with a thin single top spruce. The quality of the sound itself is fairly dark and yet firm - every note is very focused and penetrating. Due to its fast and lively responsiveness, it's very easy on the hands and almost plays by itself. Overall a very impressive instrument from this well-respected luthier.

• Beautiful Spruce Top (very thin and projects amazing!)
• 640 Scale
• Maple back and sides which adds a nice brightness to the guitar
• non-original hardshell case.
• Year unknown.  We have estimated it to be around 2007.
• This guitar has had some shrinking near the bracing on the front of the guitar.
• There is a considerable dip in the guitar near the bridge.
• This guitar is on consignment.  No trades, please.
• Beautiful sound!
