For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this Custom E-style partscaster, a thoughtfully assembled, vintage-correct single-pickup instrument built to capture the raw simplicity and authority of Fender’s earliest solidbody designs.

This Custom E-style clone features a high-quality, bound solidbody finished in a classic three-tone sunburst lacquer, closely evoking the look and feel of Fender’s early Custom-era instruments. While the body is unlabeled, its fit, finish, and overall execution point to a premium aftermarket or kit-style origin, with careful attention paid to traditional aesthetics and materials.

The guitar is fitted with an Allparts maple neck carved to a notably thick early-’50s profile, leaning toward a rounded U-shape that fills the hand in a way vintage purists will immediately appreciate. Appointed with vintage-style frets and black dot inlays, the neck delivers an authentic, substantial feel reminiscent of Fender’s earliest Broadcaster and Tele neck carves.

At the bridge, a 2021 Jonesy Blues “Blues King” pickup provides the heart of this guitar’s voice, offering a muscular, articulate take on classic Telecaster bite. Known for their clarity, punch, and dynamic response, Jonesy Blues pickups excel at delivering touch-sensitive tone that ranges from crisp and cutting to warm and throaty, all controlled directly from the player’s hands. Hardware is anchored by a Fender reproduction patent-pending T-bridge, maintaining period-correct appearance and classic string-through feel.

Electronics are built around high-quality CTS potentiometers and a CRL switch, ensuring smooth taper, reliability, and long-term performance. The discerning eye will notice the selector switch is bent to one side: this is straight from the Danny Gatton playbook, allowing quicker switching on the fly and adding a bit of character to a stripped down, classic aesthetic.

This Custom E-style comes with a Fender hardshell case.
