2015 PRS 30th Anniversary Custom 24

This beautiful PRS comes from a long line of incredible work that Paul Reed Smith has grown to be known for since the early 80's. It is said that every year PRS pushes the bar of a conventional guitar trying to improve every model in their line with slight tweaks that allow for better playability and overall tone. The 30th Anniversary models are no exception, to celebrate PRS launched a limited number of anniversary guitars that each hold something special to commemorate three decades of innovation. This guitar has undergone a headstock repair which is almost invisible to the naked eye.

PICKUPS

This year’s 30th Anniversary Custom 24 features our new 85/15 uncovered pickups - designed personally by Paul Reed Smith.  Paul’s idea was to design a new pickup with remarkable clarity and an extended range (bass & treble) perfect for modern applications.  It nods toward our traditional pickups while keeping an eye on innovation - part of our culture here at PRS.

BIRDS

In addition to the updated pickups, a unique birds in flight inlay pattern decorates the neck. 

TRUSS ROD

A 30th Anniversary truss rod cover hangs on the headstock to commemorate the year.
