For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1972 Guild S100 in natural Walnut.

Don't let the woodland theme and gentle curves fool you--if Kim Thayil played Bonnaroo, he'd take this.

Featuring all the bark and bite of an SG, the S100 added a phase switch in this model year to provide some additional texture that complements modulation. Additionally, the guitar has improved balance over similar vintage SGs (the weight sits on the body side of the neck strap pin). Finally, the Guild commitment to quality is evident in the finely turned mahogany neck and body as well as the even frets on the snappy fretboard. It plays loud and proud.

The guitar has numerous small pits on the surface, likely due to generations of squirrels trying to pull the nuts out. There is minor finish checking and swirling on the metal surfaces. That said, there is minimal wear on the playing surfaces and the controls operate smoothly.
