1971 Gibson Flying V - Medallion
For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1971 Gibson Flying V Medallion.
Highly collectable and downright fun to play, the medallion Flying V's were released by Gibson following their final production run of V's in the late 60s. Sporting a classic cherry finish over its mahogany body, two humbucking pickups with volume controls, and a master tone control, this V has that classic Gibson vibe in terms of looks, tone, and playability. The neck profile is a slim C shape that thickens up as you approach the 12th fret and the original dual humbuckers provide everything from crystalline clean tones to overdriven fuzz with the help of a good preamp. The pickguard appears to be from a 1975 V, and the tuners were once replaced with Schallers but the originals are now installed. This V sports medallion number 277 and comes with its original hardshell case.
