1959 Gibson Melody Maker 3/4 Sunburst
Serial: 9 8958
For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1959 Gibson Melody Maker 3/4 finished in 2-Tone Sunburst.
In 1959 Gibson introduced the Melody Maker, a slab of mahogany that was 3/8" thinner than the Les Paul Junior with a wide oblong pickup with a black plastic cover and no pole pieces. The 3/4 size model was a student model with 12 frets clear of the body. They had an unbound Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and one volume and tone for the pickup.
These are a very cool vintage guitar for a smaller person but with great tone and vintage vibe. Replaced tailpiece (Gotoh) and soft case.
Great condition!
Comes with Garrett Park Guitars Gig Bag
