For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1959 Gibson Les Paul Junior DC.
The Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway is one of Gibson's most direct and purposeful solidbody designs, pairing a lightweight mahogany slab body with a powerful P90 and straightforward wraparound bridge. This example, which weighs a comfortable 7lbs 12oz and features that wonderful chunky '59 neck profile, has the substantial yet lively feel associated with a late-'50s Junior.
The Junior's original P90 delivers the raw, immediate character these guitars are known for, with plenty of midrange bite and dynamic response. Cosmetically, this example is in good condition, with below average play-wear. Structurally, the guitar has a repaired, stable crack near the volume pot. It comes complete with its original chipboard case.
