For your consideration is this lovely 1958 Stratocaster in 3 tone sunburst.

Quite frankly guitars like this one rarely come along anymore. This is a one owner '58 Stratocaster with all the original pieces that came with it in 1958. We were very lucky to stumble on this guitar and were able to purchase it from the original owner and his wife who are retired and planning to move to Florida. The guitar has some playing wear but it is in fantastic condition. It is all original with the exception of the middle pickup which was rewound by Lindy Fralin. The wiring and pots and all other parts were left undisturbed and Lindy was very careful to remove the pickup from the solder points on the pickup itself to avoid disturbing any of the other wiring. It is amazing at how well balanced, percussive and toneful the pickups are. Like many '58 Fender's, the decal shows some flaking but we have included letters documenting this from two well known vintage guitar experts. The original tweed case is in great shape and the springs on the latches still snap open after 55 years. Included with the guitar are the original bill of sale, catalog inserts and care instructions, original strings and Fender picks, cable, strap, Fender polish cloth, pitch pipe, tremolo bar, and bridge cover.

Not only does this guitar sound amazing, it also plays effortlessly having a wonderful feeling neck that is slim from the first through fifth frets and then tapering to a nice chunky feel as your hand travels up the neck.

This is one for the collection!
