For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1954 Gibson J-45
When we got this guitar in, this J-45 had an oversized bridge plate, needed some frets replaced, a neck reset, and had a bit of case rash. Our luthier, Taras Andre rolled up his sleeves and got to work. He replaced the bridge plate with a period-correct sized maple plate, replaced the first 3 frets, as well as the last 5, leveled and recrowned all of the frets, cleated a previously repaired crack, repaired the case rash, and reset the neck. The results show one of the nicest J-45's that we have had in!
