1961 Guild Starfire II

While never quite as popular as Fender or Gibson, Guild has produced some high-quality instruments, especially back in the 1960s, and this '61 Starfire II is a great example of their craftsmanship. Virtually blemish-free, it's all-original, featuring a thinline, bound, mahogany body and dual Dynasonic pickups, which can replicate everything from biting, Kinks-esque garage rock to jazzier tones with ease. It comes with its original Guild hardshell, which is equally as clean and quite a cool object in its own right.
