1965 Fender Stratocaster, Lake Placid Blue
For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1965 Fender Stratocaster finished in Lake Placid Blue.
David was a student at the University of Toronto in 1965 and enjoyed going to Long and McQuade and playing this lovely blue Strat. Unfortunately he was a poor student and couldn't afford to buy it. However he returned after working a summer job and bought it. David never really played the guitar much and his friend Wes wanted it and after time passed and in 1971 David wanted a brass bed and traded it and $50 for it. Wes kept this guitar until he went West to Alberta for work but years later he rediscovered it in his parents home.
We were fortunate to convince Wes it needed a new home stateside and brought it back.
Condition wise this guitar has been played but its 100%a original and it sounds amazing, The pickups are smooth and articulate with all the punch you'd ever want.
