For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 2000's Danelectro Longhorn Bass 1959 Reissue.
Those are some long horns for such a short scale...
One of the more unique looking basses of the 1950's/60's, the Danelectro Longhorn Bass has become renowned in certain circles for its punchy tone and its shorter scale length of 29.75" The dual lipstick pickups are reminiscent of PJ bass configurations with all the low-end growl of a P-bass in the neck and plenty of J-bass treble on the bridge. Each pickup has its own volume and tone knob (concentric pots) which allows for a wide range of tones to be pulled out of this instrument. The neck is a comfortable medium C with a rosewood fingerboard. Comes with a hardshell case.
