Cosmetically, this guitar is very close to unplayed condition. It's been set up to play as effortlessly as possible to allow an artist to express delicate subtleties while reserving the option of rocking and/or rolling. With low action and like new frets, the guitar plays smoothly from heel to nut. Well balanced and light, the center of gravity makes for easy playing in a seated or standing position.

Sonically, the pickups are clear and punchy with plenty of bass clarity at high volume. It doesn't sound like a stereotypical vintage ES-335, lacking some of the sweet and mellow tonality one associates with the model. It sounds like a long lost family member, one that developed a life and legacy outside of family business.
