This is Gibson's top-of-the-line Les Paul, the Custom, and it is in great shape. There is a bit of minor wear on the body; the sign of a solid player and nothing that affects playability or tone. Speaking of tone, this Custom is king with its dual humbucking pickups that can handle anything from clean tones to growling drive, part of what has made these guitars so indispensible. This Custom is a factory 2nd though it plays like a dream and comes with the original hardshell case.
