1962 Fender Stratocaster

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1962 Fender Stratocaster.

This 1962 rosewood slab Strat is almost 100% original and a remarkable player to boot. The exception to this is the pickguard, which is an accurate and tasteful reproduction. We had to have the neck pickup checked out, so we took the guitar to Lindy Fralin, who was able to repair (rather than rewind) the pickup by peeling off a few turns of wire, thus preserving more of this Strat's originality and inimitable tone. After that, our master luthier Taras set it up with 11s for that Stevie Ray vibe: with heavier strings, three classic single-coil pickups, this guitar certainly brings double the trouble.
