For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1944 Gibson J-45 

Just in is this 1944 Gibson J-45. Made by the Kalamazoo Gals during the war, the Banner headstock Gibsons are some of the most desired guitars.

When we bought this guitar it sounded good but we knew it was going to take quite a lot to get this guitar back to its former glory. It had been oversprayed with what appears to be clear lacquer but we were able to remove it from the Firestripe pickguard. It also had a Guild bridge which we removed and replaced with an original that we had, adding some finish around that area. Our luthier also reset the neck, it had Grover tuners on it when we got it. The last photo shows the guitar prior to restoration.
