For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1937 Martin 00-18H.

Here we have a 1937 00-18H which is in excellent condition & has been expertly converted by our luthier Taras Pawluczkowycz. This vintage 1937 Martin 00-18H is a rare and wonderful guitar, & it is in Very Good condition. The H is for Hawaiian style set up, with a straight saddle and flat bar frets, but the guitar has been beautifully converted to fingerstyle with new bar frets, bridge and correct fingerboard radius.

Having 12 frets to the body the 00-18H were made in very small numbers from 1935-1941 and are nearly identical to the 1920s 00 size Martins. They had a 1 7/8" inch nut width and the neck tapers to nearly 2" at the bridge. The 00-18H make excellent fingerstyle guitars when converted and this one is proof of that. The top is Adirondack spruce shaded with a 30’s burst, the fretboard and bridge is ebony, the guard is a tortoise-shell pattern, the binding and rosette a b-w-b-w motif, slotted headstock. This one has no cracks, slight weather checking, very light scratching and scuffing here and there. It has a unique, rich acoustic tone, great volume, and attack but also the chordal blooming that the Martin small bodies are known for. It comes with and Non-original hardshell case.
