1954 Fender Champion Lap Steel

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1954 Fender Lap Steel.

Just in is this 1954 Fender Lap Steel. The string-through design of this 50's Lap Steel provides the instrument with amazing sustain. The thick single-coil pickup provides a very clear output but it sings when you give it a little gain. Made in Fullerton, California in 1954 it bears serial # 9275, & has a yellow Pearloid finish over a hardwood body.

The headstock has metal facing with integral nut stamped with lighting bolt logo and "Fender Electric Instrument Co. Fullerton, California".

Over the years many Champs have sacrificed their pickups to provide the engine for vintage Telecaster recreations, however, this guitar has remained intact with original pots and pickup.

Comes with the original tweed hardshell case.
