1968 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1968 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop.

Another gem from a private collection is this '68 Goldtop, one of 5 we purchased from a collector who had been amassing Goldies for many years. 

It is a very nice Les Paul Standard from the first batch of these done in '68. It has been refretted but the frets have a lot of life in them. At one time this had Schaller tuners but our luthier doweled the holes with mahogany to correct the oversized holes & reinstalled the original tuners which were in the case. All components are in great working order, the condition is excellent and it plays and sounds terrific, just as you'd expect from a 55-year-old Les Paul.

Specs include a one-piece body and neck with two singing P-90s, Crown logo on holly headstock veneer, 1950s style heel, long neck tenon, crown inlay on headstock, and Les Paul Signature on truss rod cover.

 This is a terrific player that comes with its original hardshell case.
