1964 Fender Stratocaster
For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1964 Fender Stratocaster
Its not every day we get a left handed pre CBS Stratocaster. This one has the signs of being loved and played and has had the neck and bridge pickups rewound by Lindy Fralin as well as a new volume pot. It has a crack in the pickguard by the neck pickup that was expertly repaired by our shop making the height adjustment fully functional. At one time a hole was drilled in the pickguard and the top bout is cracked and the piece is missing. It also was played in the right handed position for a time and an extra strap pin was added on the upper bout to allow it be strung like Jimi's was.
Now for all the good stuff. This is a superb playing and sounding Left handed pre CBS Stratocaster with a spaghetti logo, clay dots and a green pickguard. The tone is pure SRV and the pickups are expressive and percussive.
It is priced commensurate with the changes and it will be a terrific player for years to come.
