Consignment at Garrett Park
If you have a vintage or high-end guitar you’d like to sell, our consignment program offers a simple, secure, and professional way to connect your instrument with collectors and serious players who will truly appreciate it.
How It Works
-
Proceeds: You receive 80% of the net profit from the sale. Net profit is calculated after deducting the cost of sale, which can include credit card processing fees, online marketplace fees, and other related expenses.
-
Payment: Pay-outs are issued by check 30 days after the sale (unless otherwise agreed). Your proceeds will never be less than the minimum listed in your consignment agreement—or any renegotiated amount we agree on.
-
Preparation: Any repairs or modifications (including new strings) should be completed before consignment unless otherwise arranged.
How We Sell Your Guitar
We actively work to showcase your instrument and get it in front of the right buyers. Our sales methods may include:
-
In-store display and marketing
-
Listings on our website and online marketplaces such as Reverb
-
Display at guitar expositions
-
Traveling to show your guitar to our trusted business partners
While your guitar is in our possession, whether in-store or traveling, it is fully insured for peace of mind.
Ending the Consignment
Either party may end the consignment agreement in writing. Because of the ways we promote and display guitars, your instrument may not be immediately available for pickup, but we ask both parties to allow a 72-hour period for it to be returned.
