For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1954 Gibson L-50.

This is a beauty of a Gibson, well maintained over the years, with some very attractive finish checking on the spruce top and maple back and sides.  The Brazilian rosewood fretboard is in excellent condition.  But what really matter about this Gibson is the sweet, sweet sound you get when you play it.  This Gibson will shine whether your strumming chords, picking out lead lines, or finger picking your favorite James Taylor ballad.  While this guitar probably grades as a collector, it's a guitar you're going to love to play.

It features an adjustable bridge and original nickel trapeze tailpiece. The neck is straight and the body is crack free. The neck profile is the typically large round early 50’s profile neck which is not only comfortable, but also great for tone and sustain. This 1954 L-50 Archtop features a solid carved spruce top and figured maple back and sides. The solid one-piece mahogany neck comes with the trapezoidal fingerboard inlays. Like most Gibsons from this era the tuner tips were shrunken and broken so these were replaced.
