Early 1970s Maestro Echoplex EP-3 (Restoration Project or Parts Donor)

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this early 1970s Maestro Echoplex EP-3.
The EP-3 is a legendary solid-state tape delay unit introduced in 1970. Unlike its tube-driven predecessors, it uses a continuous tape loop and an FET-based preamp, famous for producing bright, percussive repeats.
This unit has not been tested because the power cord is leaking a green oxidized residue from the plug. It should be replaced before attempting to power the unit on.
Given the condition of the cord and a superficial examination of the unit, we assume this Echoplex will require in-depth servicing. Therefore, we are selling it strictly as-is for restoration or use as a parts donor.
