The 1974 Rickenbacker 4001 is a classic known for its distinctive design and rich sound. It features a stylish body crafted from carefully selected woods, ensuring both resonance and visual appeal. This 1974 example is finished in Fireglo, which has retained virtually all of its vibrance. It comes equipped with two high-output Rickenbacker single-coil pickups, providing a bright, punchy tone with exceptional clarity. The iconic triangular inlays on the bound rosewood fretboard enhance its vintage charm. The neck is comfortably slender, allowing for easy playability and swift action across the 20 frets. The bass is original with the exception of the neck pickup, which was professionally rewound, and the potentiometers which are Japanese but work very well and are noise free.
