Getting  For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1967 Martin D-28.

By the late 1960s, the D-28 had firmly established itself as one of the defining steel-string acoustic guitars—valued for its powerful projection, piano-like bass response, and articulate trebles. This example features Brazilian rosewood back and sides, placing it among the final generation of D-28s built with this celebrated tonewood before Martin transitioned to Indian rosewood at the end of the decade.

Structurally, the guitar has benefited from a thorough round of professional service to ensure long-term stability and playability. Work performed includes  reglued X-braces, a bridge reglue, a neck reset, and four replaced frets. The work was completed with a new saddle and full setup, and the instrument now plays comfortably with excellent response.

Cosmetically and structurally, the guitar is in excellent condition. Aside from a replaced pickguard, the instrument remains all original and crack-free (the original pickguard is included in the case). The finish shows the light play-wear and natural signs of aging expected of a well-preserved vintage Martin, presenting cleanly overall.

This 1967 D-28 represents a particularly appealing vintage dreadnought: a clean, crack-free example from the closing years of Martin’s Brazilian rosewood production, freshly serviced and ready for the next chapter of its life with either a discerning player or collector.
