Fender
1963 Fender Stratocaster – Body Refin
Couldn't load pickup availability
For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this exceptional 1963 Fender Stratocaster.
Some Strats simply have that immediate, familiar feel the moment you pick them up, and this 1963 is one of those guitars. The maple neck and Brazilian rosewood fingerboard have an inviting, broken-in feel that makes the instrument remarkably comfortable in the hands. Finished in Arctic White lacquer, the refinished body pairs beautifully with the original mint green three-ply pickguard, which remains nearly 100% intact.
The original electronics are another highlight. A trio of black-bottom Stratocaster pickups deliver a wonderfully balanced set of readings at 5.69KΩ on the bridge, 6.34KΩ in the middle, and 5.46KΩ at the neck. The original potentiometers, wiring, and 3-way switch remain in place, giving this Stratocaster the kind of authentic vintage character that cannot be replicated.
Cosmetically, the guitar presents as a good player-grade refin, with average play-wear for its age. Structurally, it is excellent, with no cracks, breaks, or repair history.
The guitar is accompanied by its original hardshell case and tremolo arm.
