1930s Carson Robison (made by Gibson)
For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1930s Carson Robison Made by Gibson
Built exclusively for Montgomery Ward, this Carson J. Robison guitar is a fantastic treasure from the Depression Era. This guitar was built by the Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The guitar features a vibrant and beautiful sunburst spruce top, firestripe pickguard, mahogany back and sides, an unbound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, and is a great sounding vintage Gibson-made small bodied guitar with loud crisp mahogany tone. It even has the Montgomery Wards sticker still inside the sound hole.
This is a wonderful artifact of an extremely tough era, and someone would have spent what they made in a month on this guitar. Comes with a very nice newer hardshell case.
This guitar is nearly 100 years old, but it is in excellent condition and is a joy to behold and especially to play.
