For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1950s Teisco Model A Lap Steel
Teisco was a Japanese builder that built knock offs of American made guitars beginning in 1946. Teisco stands for Tokyo Electric Instrument and Sound Company.
It's not entirely clear when Teisco began making Lap Steels but this 1950s Model A is one of the more ornate models we've seen.
It has a sleek gloss black finish with abalone inlays and a wonderful rich sounding pickup.
With the exception of the volume knob (working but broken) this is a very clean and cool/vibey instrument.
Condition: Very Good
Serial Number: NSN
Case: Original Hard Shell
