For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1944 Magnatone Lap Steel. 

This keyless design lapsteel is rare for a couple of reasons, the keyless design was only made for a short time but the most interesting feature of this guitar is that that pots date it to June of 1944 when the US invaded Normandy. Every piece of electronics gear was in short supply and musical instruments were no exception, making this one very rare indeed. Comes with its original case.
