S-Style Partscaster w/ Warmoth Neck, Lipstick Pickups

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this one-of-a-kind Warmouth S-style partscaster, a carefully assembled hybrid blending vintage components with modern craftsmanship.
This partscaster features a familiar body shape with cream binding, which is a gentle homage to SRV's custom Hamiltone, as well as a trio of lipstick pickups that evoke other guitars in Stevie's arsenal. Metal hardware complements the lipsticks and, along with a pearloid pickguard, lend the instrument a funky, mid-century vibe. A Warmoth neck featuring bird's-eye maple and a thick (.229") rosewood slab imparts just the right amount of warmth and texture to the space-age aesthetic.
Bright, jangly, and alive, this guitar sings with a voice all its own. The modern Dano-style pickups deliver that classic chime and sparkle, giving you clear, articulate cleans with crisp highs and just the right amount of character when you dig in. Crank the gain a bit and the p'ups break up with a snarly, edgy grit that’s perfect for a host of genres, from Texas blues to indie rock.
Cosmetically, the guitar is in good condition. The body shows consistent finish-hazing, but otherwise only moderate play-wear consistent with a 20+-year-old guitar. Its hardware, while free of pitting and corrosion, sports the modest patina of a well-loved instrument. The maple neck, rosewood board, and Sperzel tuners are virtually brand-new. It comes with a killer snakeskin hardshell case.
Whether you’re an SRV collector, a performer, or a player who loves one-of-a-kind guitars, this partscaster delivers both vintage feel and modern dependability. Its combination of aged electronics, modern Warmoth craftsmanship, and tonal versatility makes it equally at home on stage, in the studio, or jamming at home. Unique, playable, and visually striking, this guitar is ready to inspire.
Worth nothing is that this guitar came from the collection of our friend Doug Phillips (RIP), a luthier from Norfolk VA. Doug was a tone connoisseur who built guitars to his specifications. Each of these instruments are superb in their own way.
