For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1942 Gibson LG-2

This lovely Gibson sounds amazing! It came to us needing a neck reset and a couple of cracks that needed to be reglued. The results are great and the action is superb. Terrific woody tone in spades and this one is ready for another 70 years! Period correct soft shell case and a molded case too! We purchased this guitar recently from the second owner. It was a present from a young serviceman who bought it for his wife right before he went off to WWII. She played it for several years after his return from the war but sadly retired it to its case in about 1949 where is sat until the second owner bought it. We are pleased to announce that the restoration was a complete success and that the old girl has been awakened from her sleep to make beautiful music for another 70+ years.
