For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1964 Fender Reverb Unit...
Fender originally produced tube driven reverb units from 1961-1966. Reverb was essential to the tone of many players of the day and in fact it still is. Nothing really replicates the tone of a Fender reverb and these are sought after by players worldwide. This unit's tube chart shows a code of NA which dates it to January 1964. It has never had any repairs or modifications and it appears to be completely original (except for the two prong plug which appears to have been replaced at some point). The tubes have bright red lettering reading RCA which are probably original to the unit along with the tube shields. It is an old piece and shows its age on both ends where the tolex isn’t laying completely flat. The variant of smooth white tolex, wheat colored grill cloth and tailed Fender logo we only made for a brief period in 1964 before going to the black "tuxedo" motif. This unit sounds fantastic and looks great too. |
