1953/1954 Carvin 6605 Lap Steel
For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1953/1954 Carvin 6605 Lap Steel
Carvin Corporation is one of the great unknowns in the musical instrument business. Having manufactured since 1948 this California based company has made guitars, amps and a host of other gear that was sold direct to consumers.
Our Carvin is a 1953 or 1954 Doubleneck Lap Steel (with legs). It features a pearloid (Mother of Toilet Seat) finish and is completely functional and original. In nice original condition this cool old Steel sounds amazing. It has a few places where the plastic has come off but is 95% intact throughout. The electronics work great also. With original tweed case and legs.
