Paul Reed Smith sure knows how to make a beautiful guitar that is a lot of fun to play, and this one is no exception.  It has a comfortable Pattern Vintage neck that gives you plenty to hang on to without being cumbersome, and the medium jumbo frets serve you well whether playing a searing lead or cranking out chords.  The 58/15 pickups know how to growl, but also offer articulate clean tones, especially with the coils tapped using the push/pull on the tone knobs - there are a lot of sounds to be explored in this guitar.  Finally, the 10-top is as pretty as you'd expect and the fretboard features PRS's signature bird inlays.   All in all, this is a perfect guitar for anyone looking to get into a top-shelf PRS at a lower price point than off the rack.
