For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1972 Gibson SG Special - Mahogany w/ Bigsby.
In very good condition, this SG Special is fun to play and set up very nicely. The frets have normal wear and are the original flat wide frets. Set up recently and strung with 10's, it sounds amazing. All original electronics and pots date correctly (see images). Upon first receiving this to our shop, we thought it was your typical 70's SG Special with the standard "blah" pickups, but this one sings and has great tone! Ask us for a video and we'll show you.
There appears to be a small crack in the headstock which was repaired , but not your typical SG headstock crack where the headstock caves. This is a vertical crack that ran to the tuners (See images). Has some worming on the back of the guitar and your usual dings and dents across the body. Bigsby is operating normally and feels nice. Truss rod still working and the bridge is also working. Otherwise in very good condition.
Case: Comes with original Gibson plastic hardshell case (see photos)
Serial Number: 621724
Condition: Very Good considering it's almost 50 years old!
Photos are of the actual guitar and are not stock photos.
