For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presets this 1970 Martin D-18

The D-18 is one of Martin’s oldest and most storied instruments. The incredible sound of D-18 guitars comes from the legendary tonewood combination of solid Spruce tops and Mahogany back and sides. Performers throughout music history including Elvis Presley, Doc Watson, Peter Rowan, Paul Simon, Jerry Garcia and Kurt Cobain were all known to favor the D-18. It is a true legacy guitar.

This 1970 model has all the mojo you would expect from such a storied guitar. It is in very good condition, with no cracks; only the surface nicks, dings and scratches that you would expect from a well played guitar of over 50 years. There has been a neck reset, also common on vintage acoustic guitars, so it plays very smoothly and feels very comfortable with its soft V neck profile. It has such great tone and resonance with excellent balance between the lows and highs with fantastic clarity. Comes with the original hardshell case.

This guitar is on consignment, so we can’t accept trades. However, feel free to make a reasonable offer and we’ll check with the consignor. Please include your payment method of choice as part of the offer. Preference is given to fee-less payments (cash, check, wire, Venmo, etc.).
