1966 Fender Jazz Bass - Dakota Red-Family owned

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1966 Fender Jazz Bass in Dakota Red.
This one owner/one family J is just too killer for words, but here goes...
The Fender Jazz Bass is an instrument that cannot be praised enough. Giving generations of bass players the tool to refine and redefine their trade, the Jazz Bass has cemented itself in music history with players such as Jaco Pastorius, John Paul Jones, Geddy Lee, Flea, and countless others.
Ok all that said, this particular model is spectacular and really special. We bought it recently through a broker from the original owners daughter (who needed a new kitchen), it features a bound Brazilian Rosewood fretboard, pearloid dot inlays, lollipop tuners, pickup covers, and the most striking Dakota Red finish with matching headstock.
This is an absolutely killer bass both in terms of looks, playability and tonal quality.
In 40+ years (1981) of Garrett Park Guitars history this is not only the only Dakota Red Jazz Bass we ever owned but the only one we have ever seen.
Comes with the original hardshell case, polishing cloth and tags.
