1964 GIBSON J50

Garrett Park Guitars

This guitar is in our Hall of Fame Collection and is no longer available for purchase.

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1964 Gibson J50 in a blonde finish.

Everything is completely original on this beauty. We were told it was bought by a man for his wife to learn how to play. She never did learn and it lived in a closet for all these many years. This guitar is in superb condition.

The J-50 made its debut in 1942 and is still in production today. With many of the great features of the J-45s, the J-50s were produced in fewer numbers, making them a collectors dream! This guitar has a combination of beauty and structural elements that makes it a huge success. Rounded shouldered dreadnought, mahogany back and sides, the classic x-braced construction, tall skinny braces, and reverse belly thin plastic bridge. This double-bound top is finished off in a beautiful blonde, the compliment to the dark bridge, rosewood fingerboard and pearl dots.

Not only does this guitar look good, but it sounds like non other! They don't say "only a Gibson is good enough" for nothing!

Comes with original hard case.
