At some point in their lifetime, this set of PAFs received chrome covers, likely installed to visually match an aftermarket ABR-1 bridge fitted to the instrument during its working life. Beneath the covers, the pickups remain structurally and electrically original, retaining the classic PAF stickers, period-correct tooling marks, and brass baseplate screws consistent with pre-patent number Gibson production.
