1959 Martin D-18

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1959 Martin D-18.

This 1959 Martin D-18 is a true player-grade workhorse with all the honest character expected from a guitar that has been making music for decades. The top wears its history like a roadmap, showing plenty of well-earned wear while remaining remarkably crack-free. It does show professionally plugged holes from a former volume and tone control installation, overspray on the top, and a refinished back and sides.

While this D-18 has received a full refret and brass bridge pins for optimal playability and tone, it retains its original Brazilian rosewood bridge, maple bridge plate, and tortoise pickguard. There is virtually no room for saddle adjustment, but for now the action is eminently playable for a 1959 flattop. The back and sides were refinished some years ago as evidenced by the slight fluorescence it displays when black lit & the top has been oversprayed as well but not refinished.

This D-18 comes with a newer Martin hardshell case.
