1959 Gibson ES-355-T

Garrett Park Guitars

This guitar is in our Hall of Fame Collection and is no longer available for purchase.

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1959 Gibson ES-355-T

This amazing one owner '59 ES-355 was bought new at Mitchells Music in Hagerstown MD in 1959. It was played with many famous artists including Vernon Taylor, Patsy Cline & Roy Rogers & the Sons of Pioneers. It was used in and around the Western Mayland & West Virginia area as well as county fairs, juke joints and music halls throughout the mid-Atlantic region. The guitar is in terrific condition and is all original including the gold plated PAF pickups, Gold Bigsby & Grover tuners as well as the original brown case. The guitar plays great and sounds amazing too. It has some player wear on the back of the neck and some marks on the headstock face but overall it's in very good shape. The case was covered in shelf liner protecting the original Lifton. An amazing mono '59 ES-355 with great provenance & large doses of mojo.
