1952 Martin D-28

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1952 Martin D-28.

Just in is this 1952 Martin D-28. This guitar still features Brazilian rosewood on the back and sides. Brazilian rosewood is the tonewood above all tonewoods, and this guitar is no exception. This D-28 is a cannon on the low end, but the low end does not overpower the lush mid-range and crystal-clear highs. At some point in its life, this guitar sported an over-sized pickguard, taking up much of the treble side of the top in front of the bridge. There was also a more standard tear-drop pickguard added above the soundhole. We have replaced the existing tear-drop pickguard with a more period-correct tortoise 'guard. 

This guitar comes with a non-original hardshell case.
