1952 Harmony H44 Stratotone
For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1952 Harmony H44 Strato-tone.
This 1952 Harmony Stratotone exudes 50's mojo from the copper finish to the atomic age Stratotone name. The guitar itself is a solid body spanish electric with a 25&1/4" scale fingerboard, single neck pickup with volume and tone control, and bridge with a short trapeze tailpiece. The jack plate and pickguard have been replaced but the guitar is otherwise original. The neck is a thick 1950's neck reminiscent of early Les Pauls. Some of the finish has worn away from the neck, exposing the smooth composite underneath. This model guitar was Ritchie Valens' go-to axe when he recorded some of his most famous albums.
